A Fish Walking Through The Desert

I used to be one of them

We lived together in a stream

With no dreams

But one day

A falling bird told me

“Far away, there is a wonderful place”

My awakening soul

Immersed in a fantasy eddy

The stream nurturing me gave me all I need

Stones, watergrass, branches…

I suffered then rebirthed

Watergrass was joints

Branches were bones

Stones were feet

I told the shoal I would leave

They believed that I was crazy

Eventually, I came ashore

But in my eyes

There were only some vast sand dunes

And the death was hovering in the sky

I was still alive

I kept walking and walking…

Cactuses were wildly growing

The scorching sun stung my eyes

And made me not forget the truth

I kept walking and walking…

My body felt heavy

Dark shades were chasing

Mother Nature pitied me

Rain as her milk saved my life

Then

I saw a little blue

The blue was spreading toward me

Everything turned blue

Under the blue

It was a colorful world I had never seen

 Before
